Never bag recyclables in plastic - If you must bag, please use paper.

Sonoco Recycling computer scanners can identify anything larger than the palm of your hand, appx. 3” x 3”. Anything smaller should go into household trash.

Plastics coded #1, #2 & #5 are acceptable in curbside recycle bins.

Shredded paper - must be placed in a paper bag, secured at the top with a staple or small piece of scotch tape.

All electronics that have a cord, take batteries, or charges. The only non acceptable electronics from the public are large appliances, refrigerators, lightbulbs, batteries, printer cartridges, CRT TVs (large TVs that are not flat).

Mulch and pet food plastic bags (+ many other similar plastic bags)

Always remove bottle tops on milk containers.

Plastic bottles with paper labels are acceptable as long as they are not contaminated with food or other similar substances.
Napkins are unacceptable for curbside recycling.

Recycling containers for Tennis balls are located on all St. James Tennis courts.

Slightly stained pizza boxes without food waste can be recycled in curbside bins and other locations.
