Join us

It really does take a village. And that's exactly what St. James is. Our volunteers and supporters are the key to making a positive difference here. There are a variety of ways you can help us achieve our mission, at whatever level works for you. We are raising the bar on community conservation in our region, and welcome your involvement.

In an ever changing world, help us continue to make St. James special, unique, and sustainable.

“Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in”.  ~Author Unknown

Opportunities

The following are areas where you may join in and support our nonprofit.

  • Become a Conservancy Member with an annual membership fee of $25 per household and help us expand our local initiatives here in St. James.

  • Join one or more of our active committees that align with your passion. [Members, Gardening, Education, Programs, Birding, Living Shoreline Project, NWF Community Wildlife Habitat, Recycling, Social Media, Website maintenance, and more]. We would also love to hear your ideas and suggestions.

  • Make a financial donation to St. James Conservancy to enable us to accomplish our mission today and for years to come, bringing in speakers and hosting events.

  • Having more members helps lighten the task, creates more ideas, and expands our reach. You don't need to chair a committee, just help us make a difference.
